What the extension reads
When activated on a supported Google Maps tab, the extension reads the public business listing and loaded search results. This may include business names, contact details, categories, ratings, review counts, hours, attributes, services and Google identifiers. It does not read email, passwords, cookies, Google account details or browsing history. No extra Maps requests are made.
Permissions
Active tab and scripting permissions allow the user-initiated inspection of a Maps tab. Side panel permission displays the audit. Storage permission keeps settings and saved audits locally. No blanket all-websites permission is requested. The tool contains no remote executable code, analytics or advertising.
Storage and exports
The latest captures are stored in extension session storage for up to eight tabs and clear with the browser session. Only audits explicitly saved are placed in the local archive, capped at 20. Removing an archive entry or uninstalling the extension removes those copies. Exported files remain wherever you saved them. The standalone website viewer has its own local archive; clearing that site's browser data removes it.
No audit upload
Audit processing and exports happen locally. Small World Marketing does not receive captured business data through the extension or report viewer. The landing page uses the normal website analytics described in our website privacy policy. Opening or downloading website files produces ordinary hosting requests. The standalone report viewer does not include the marketing site's tracking scripts.
Read the findings carefully
Google Maps can change its data format, omit information or personalize results. Not loaded means unknown, not absent. The checklist is a review aid, not Google's scoring system or a guarantee of rankings. A comparison describes only the results loaded for that search. Some items do not apply to every business. Keep categories, attributes and hours accurate. This tool does not make profile changes.
