Search engine optimization

Competing for the expensive terms.

Workplace-law keywords are valuable and contested. Fiedler needed dedicated pages for each claim type, an active profile, and a faster, cleaner site.

Where they started

  • Limited ability to rank for high-value regional legal keywords.
  • No detailed, service-specific pages.
  • Insufficient authoritative backlinks.
  • An outdated profile and technical SEO barriers.

What we did

  1. Keyword-focused pages. Developed pages for wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower protection.
  2. Google Business Profile. Refreshed the profile with reviews and strategic posts to lift local visibility.
  3. Backlinks and press. Earned authoritative links and press placements to build domain authority from the outside in.
  4. Technical SEO. Cleared crawl errors and broken links, tightened internal linking, sped the site up, and added schema markup so search engines could read every page.
  5. Citations and NAP. Standardised name, address, and phone listings across trusted directories so the business reads as one consistent entity.

The firm went from roughly 50 organic visits a month to a peak above 1,000, competing for valuable terms like “employment lawyer Iowa” (around 1,300 searches a month) across Iowa and Nebraska.
